Te Puke Citizens Club and Te Puke RSA

This is a community-based organization combining the Te Puke Citizens Club and Te Puke RSA, based in Jellicoe Street, Te Puke. The building has a welcoming family-friendly ambience, with welcoming polite staff, always offering a smile whenever you walk in the door. There is a large car park and easy parking for the disabled, and space to park up your mobility scooter.

There are regular events for the family to enjoy and many Sports Clubs if you’d like to really get involved.

As a member of the Club you will appreciate cheaper prices for your drinks than other restaurants and bars in the local vicinity.

There is a restaurant on site where you can sit and eat from the a la carte menu in the private lounge, or order bar snacks and eat in the main bar/lounge. Meals are always tasty and of generous proportions, enough variety in the menu to please everyone.

The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked with plenty toilet tissue and paper towels.

There is a cashflow machine onsite.

There are Pokie Machines available for over 18s, tucked away for gambling pleasure and fundraising for the Lotto Commission. Pool and Snooker tables, and plenty of dartboards are available for a casual game with friends, or tournaments when you join one of the many sporting clubs. There is an indoor bowls club that meet regularly if stick games aren’t your thing. Or if you like the mighty ocean that’s on our door step join the Fishing Club. There are regular outings that are sure to appeal to the ‘old salties’ among us.

Regular other events could have you dressing up and being fabulous for Melbourne Cup, showing your support for Ford or Holden and battling it out for Bathhurst, yelling at the TVs and supporting your favourite rugby/league teams, or other sports on their big TVs. Karaoke every 2nd Friday of the month always brings in a great energetic crowd and showcases lots of local talent.

Weekly on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the Club’s Volunteer Committee sell raffles for various club activities. Tickets are generally $2/ticket and raffles range from a frozen chicken, $25 Lotto/instant Kiwi packages, through to large meat and vege packs with up to 5 assorted packs of meat and fresh local produce. There are also membership draws, which if you are a paid financial member of the club you can win between $100 and $3,000 – but the catch is you need to be present to collect your winnings, a great way to catch up with friends, have a social drink, play some pool, then pop into the restaurant for a fab family meal.

If you’re in the club on your special day, be sure to let the club know it's your birthday, there’ll be a free drink with your name on it!

A courtesy coach is available to members with a small donation to the club, a fab way to get down to the club and home again safe.

We love going to the club and have enjoyed the friendships made and experiences we’ve had there.
